After my son was born, I needed a way to express myself creatively. Time felt like it was moving too fast and I had more photos on my phone than I knew what to do with. Drawing my favorite photos allowed me to relive the special moments that I wanted to remember and feel forever. Something about having it drawn just makes it more special.
Lines by Lila is how I share this passion with the world. My art captures moments from all of life's moments. Lila Cone holds a BA Painting and Drawing from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She has taught art in private and public schools in New York. Her artwork has been in galleries in New Brunswick, NJ and Burlington, VT. She lives in Vermont with her husband, son and a magical Great Pyrenees named Ruthie.
